CLARKSBURG, W.Va. - The Glenville State Boxing team secured two victories at last night's (Feb. 24) Boxing in the Burg event in Clarksburg. 

Justin Sodergren kicked the night off fighting Thomas Sheppard of One More Boxing Club. Sodergren was in the fight through every round but it would be Sheppard who came out victorious. Payton Packer fought in bout #16, defeating Sal Cantero of Steve Cross Boxing in a tough split decision. Aaron O'Connor won his co-main event bout, beating undefeated Boaz Nishimwe out of Lexington, Kentucky.  

Overall, it was a successful night for Head Coach Duane Chapman and his GSU Boxing squad.
