HOUSTON, Texas - Glenville State Boxing had a phenomenal weekend at the USIBA National Championships, crowning a National Champion and National Runner-up.
Aaron O'Connor secured his second national championship after defeating former Michigan football running back Isaiah Gash for the title belt. This is O'Connor's second championship in as many weight classes!
Payton Packer fell to Syracuse's Caleb Brown in the National Championship (175 lbs). Though Packer lost, he is the National Runner-up for the second time in his career.
Daniel Hinger also made it to Nationals, dropping his bout to VMI's Isaiah Glover due to a referee stoppage in the semifinal round.
