THE OPPONENT
TIFFIN
The Dragons enter (0-5) after falling to the University of Charleston in their season opener. The remaining three games of that series would be canceled. From there, TU got swept by Wayne State (Mich.) in a four-game set.
Joe Wilkins is in his 12th season leading Tiffin Baseball. Wilkins holds a (234-279) overall record as a HC. In 2022, he was the NCBWA Midwest Region Coach of the Year and GMAC Coach of the Year, coaching two DII All-Americans. In 2019, the Wilkins-led Dragons made it to the school's first-ever NCAA Tournament, making it all the way to the Regional Final. Wilkins has coaching experience as an assistant at Pepperdine and Wake Forest.
Five different Dragons have picked up a home run thus far. Aidan Grabowski leads the team in AVG (.412) and doubles (3). Logan Swonger is only batting .176 but he currently leads the Dragons in RBI (6) while adding a home run. Ty Hatfield has been a solid bat early as well, batting .400 with a home run and 4 RBI. The pitching staff holds a team ERA of 7.82 through five games.
THE PIONEERS
GLENVILLE STATE
The Pioneers come in (3-3) following last weekend's Pioneer Classic where they defeated Mercyhurst but fell to #7 Millersville and #21 West Chester.

Mason Lohr is batting .500 with 12 at bats while Zach Morris, Carlos De Jesus and Zach Laurie are second on the team in RBI with two each.
