GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Glenville State Women's Basketball senior Hya Haywood has been named to the D2CCA All-Region Second Team, the association announced. 

Haywood, a standout guard from Evansville, Ind., was also an All-MEC First team selection after averaging 18.1 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 3.4 SPG and 3.0 APG while shooting 42% from the field this season. Haywood had 11 games of 20+ points as well as two 30+ point performances, capped off by a season-high 33 points at Wheeling on Feb. 24. She finished the season off with games of 33, 27, 29 and 29 points. 

Haywood was one of three Mountain East Conference players to earn All-Region as Alyssa DeAngelo (Fairmont State) and Emilee Weakley (Frostburg State) garnered First Team honors.
