It didn't take long for GSU to build their advantage back up with three runs in the 4th on an RBI single from Fabian Escalante and two errors by D&E.

A few innings later, Adam Bright and Mason Lohr hit RBI singles to make it 8-1, followed by Bright hitting a sac fly in the top of the 7th. The Senators were able to add a run to the board in the bottom of the 7th, however it was much too late as GSU closed out the victory 9-2.
