OMAHA, Neb. – Glenville State Women's Basketball star Nwando Okigbo has been named World Exposure Report (WER) Division II Player of the Week.

Okigbo, a freshman out of Anambra, Nigeria, averaged a double-double to help lead the Lady Pioneers to two victories last week. Okigbo posted 19.0 PPG, 10.5 RPG, 3.0 APG, 1.0 SPG and 1.0 BPG in wins over Wheeling and West Liberty. Against the Cardinals, she scored 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting with seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. Versus the Hilltoppers, the 6-foot guard recorded 16 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal.
