GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State baseball hosts another PSAC opponent this weekend at the Sue Morris Sports Complex as Mansfield makes the trip to play a four-game set. Double-headers are scheduled for Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturday at the same time.

Head Coach
Head Coach Andrew Chalot enters his sixth season as head coach and last year led the Mountaineers to a (15-31) overall record while going (8-24) in the PSAC.

Offensively, Hunter Smith leads the team in hitting with a .625 average and two home runs while Jacob Houtz is hitting .500 and has two homers. On the mound, Tyler Swineford has only allowed one run in three innings of work and Luke Raho has only allowed four hits along with one run.

Coming off a (2-2) weekend against Lock Haven, Head Coach Jimmy Mullins' squad is looking to win this weekend's series against Mansfield as they continue their non-conference schedule. The Pioneers are (4-3) on the year.
Quick Look at The Pioneers
Offensively, the Pioneers are led by senior outfielder/DH Zac Bayor as he is currently hitting .550 on the year with four home runs, nine RBIs and eight walks. Jacob Meadows is hitting .375 in three starts with three walks and a .545 on base percentage. Zach Laurie is hitting .357 with two doubles and five RBIs while Adam Bright is hitting .316 with three doubles and walking six times. On the mound, senior Austin Corn is leading the staff with a 2.00 ERA and a .78 WHIP, also recording 13 strikeouts in nine innings of work. Cole Grady has thrown 12.1 innings for the Pioneers and has also struck out 13 and has a 1.05 WHIP. Grant Landis has been shut down out of the bullpen as he has not allowed a run in 6.2 innings of work and Luka Moore threw four scoreless innings in his first appearance of the year last weekend.
