GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Glenville State Baseball is heading to Wilson, North Carolina this weekend to play in the Wilson Tobs College Classic. The Pioneers will face off against Cedarville and Chestnut Hill, playing four games in three days.

Matt Richter is entering his third year leading the Yellow Jackets and his team is coming into this weekend (4-8) overall. Led by Eli Henderson at the plate, he is hitting .390 with five RBIs. On the mound, Ford Duesing has a 2.93 ERA, while striking out eight thus far.
CHESTNUT HILL
2025 Season
Head coach Robert Spratt has been at the school since 2008 and has his team at (4-2) on the young season. They are led by Kenyon Motley offensively, hitting .421 with two RBIs and Michael Bendetto's..385 average with three RBIs. On the mound, Jason Kelly has a 1.80 ERA and has only allowed two hits in 10 innings of work.

The Pioneers are (6-5) entering the road trip and are coming off two wins against Mansfield last Saturday.

Zac Bayor is leading the Pioneer offense, hitting .552 with five home runs and 15 RBIs. Zach Laurie is hitting .304 with four doubles and Lance Minson is hitting .280 with eight RBIs. Cole Grady has a 3.18 ERA on the mound and has struck out 19 batters in 17 innings. Austin Corn has a 4.05 ERA and has only allowed 11 hits in 13.1 innings of work. The bullpen has been a bright spot for the team as Grant Landis leads the bullpen in innings pitched with 8.1 and has only allowed three runs. Noah Petrovich and Ashton Crace have not allowed a run.
