GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Last night, Glenville State Athletics celebrated the 64 student-athletes who achieved a 4.0 GPA during the 2025 Spring semester inside the Atrium of the Waco Center. The 64 includes those who graduated in the spring and summer as well.

"The 4.0 Ceremony has become a very important event on the Glenville Calendar and something that the Athletic Department deeply values. The administrators that attend and speak on this night always take great pride in the accomplishments of these student-athletes," said Director of Athletics Jesse Skiles.
 
Last night put the finishing touches on an outstanding academic year for GSU Athletics, as the 2024-25 calendar year was the best in the Department's history with a 3.12 combined GPA between all 17 teams. Most notably, the Women's Track & Field and Softball teams both finished with over a 3.5 GPA, the highest in the Athletic Department.

"I am extremely proud of the work put in by these young athletes!"
