THE PIONEERS
Glenville State is coming off an historic season in 2024 with the women placing 5th and the men taking 6th at the MEC Championships. In addition, both teams were 17th at the NCAA Atlantic Regional, their highest finishes in program history. Natalie Barr was an All-MEC First Teamer, the first female to be first team all-conference since 1988. Patrick Reilly was MEC Freshman of the Year and an All-MEC Second Teamer, placing 13th (highest since the formation of the MEC).

The MEC Preseason Coaches Poll tabbed the women 9th and the men 6th, but Pioneer Head Coach Dan Meyers has plenty to be excited about this season. "We want to control our expectations and we're still young but I really feel we can be a sleeper in the league this year," said HC Dan Meyers on the Pioneer Coaches Show. 11 new Pioneers have entered the mix for Meyers in 2025 while key returners are back, making it a stronger group overall.
