Dan Meyers will lead Glenville State Cross Country for his fifth season as the Pioneers open up the 2025 campaign at the West Liberty Invite tomorrow (Sept. 4). GSU will be racing at the Bethany College Cross Country Course at 5 p.m.

THE TEAMS
The Pioneers will be accompanied by the host, West Liberty, as well as Charleston, Point Park, Fairmont State, Clarion, Bethany College, Wheeling, Washington & Jefferson and Grove City.
THE PIONEERS
Glenville State is coming off an historic season in 2024 with the women placing 5
th and the men taking 6
th at the MEC Championships. In addition, both teams were 17
th at the NCAA Atlantic Regional, their highest finishes in program history.
Natalie Barr was an All-MEC First Teamer, the first female to be first team all-conference since 1988.
Patrick Reilly was MEC Freshman of the Year and an All-MEC Second Teamer, placing 13
th (highest since the formation of the MEC).
The MEC Preseason Coaches Poll tabbed the women 9
th and the men 6
th, but Pioneer Head Coach
