BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Glenville State Women's Basketball sophomore guard Ashlyn Riley has been selected Mountain East Conference Co-Player of the Week, the league announced. The weekly award is presented by The Health Plan.
 
Riley, who shared the award with West Virginia State's Bailey Goins, averaged 20.5 PPG, 4.5 RPG and 1.0 SPG with a 63% three-point mark in the Lady Pioneers two victories over Davis & Elkins and West Virginia Wesleyan. In GSU's 88-63 win at D&E, Riley scored 16 points and grabbed five boards on 6-for-7 field goal shooting and 3-for-4 from three-point range. She backed that performance up with a big 25-point afternoon versus WVWC in a battle for first-place. She shot 11-for-15 from the field and also grabbed four rebounds.
