THE OPPONENT
MANSFIELD
2025 Season
The Mountaineers finished last year (14-31) overall and (8-20) in the PSAC, including a series split with the Pioneers during the first three weeks of the season. Mansfield compiled three nationally ranked wins, with one coming against top 10 Millersville in mid-April.
Quick Look at The Mountaineers
MU has had to replace one of the program's most notorious players, Jacob Houtz, who was a Third Team All-American, ABCA/Rawlings Atlantic Region Position Player of the Year, NCBWA Atlantic Region Player of the Year and PSAC Eastern Division Athlete of the Year. The Mountaineers lost all four of their top sluggers from a season ago, but outfielder Ryan Sekulski is back after hitting .306 with three home runs, 25 RBIs and 12 doubles. On the mound, MU returns two starters in Garrett Emerick (10 starts, 3-6 record, 9.71 ERA in 46.1 IP) and Austin Beauchamp (five starts, 1-1 record, 4.62 ERA in 37.0 IP). It will be a lot of new faces taking the diamond for seventh-year head coach Andrew Chalot this weekend.
THE PIONEERS
GLENVILLE STATE
2025 Season
The Pioneers went (27-21) overall and (16-14) in the Mountain East Conference in 2025, as the blue and white won 12 out of their last 14 games to end the season.
Quick Look at The Pioneers
Glenville State returns All-MEC Second Team selections
Grant Landis,

De Jesus hit six home runs with 29 RBIs and a team-leading 13 doubles for the blue and white last season, using multiple seven-game hit streaks to push his OPS past .800 on the year.
