GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Baseball will welcome Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) foe Lock Haven for a four-game series this weekend, hosting the Bald Eagles tomorrow (Feb. 20) for a doubleheader before finishing out the series on Saturday (Feb. 21) for another DH.

2025 Season
After an historic (10-3) start, Lock Haven finished the 2025 campaign (17-31) overall and (7-20) in PSAC play. The Bald Eagles and Pioneers met in Glenville last season, where the two squads split the four-game set with a pair of doubleheader sweeps.
Quick Look at The Bald Eagles
LHU returns former PSAC East Freshman of the Year Zach McEllroy, who hit two homers and drove in 23 during his sophomore campaign in '25. Out of the bullpen, Jace Szaflarski was electric for the Bald Eagles, posting a 1.17 ERA and seven saves in 13 appearances. Sophomore Ethan Nagy became a household name in the LHU clubhouse last season, hitting .336 with 50 hits, nine doubles and 17 RBIs while striking out 31 batters in 34 innings pitched on the mound.
THE PIONEERS

2026 Season
The Pioneers opened the new season last weekend, winning three out of their first four games over Mansfield. GSU won the opening three games of their eight-game homestand, but Mansfield salvaged the series with a win in game four.

Adam Bright was the MEC Player of the Week, hitting .308 with a grand slam, five total RBIs and a double.
Gavin Blair went 3-for-8 with a home run, two RBIs and added a walk-off single in game three.
Jetsel Cajigas-Martinez got on base eight times, flashing a .333 average with a double and an RBI. Redshirt freshman Greyson McNeil debuted nicely for 13
th-year head coach Jimmy Mullins, batting .357 with five hits, a home run and three RBIs.
William Chu was lights out for the Pioneers out of the bullpen, dishing out six innings with no runs allowed, a .17 WHIP and four strikeouts in two appearances.
Grant Landis went four innings in his start, giving up no runs with six strikeouts and just two hits allowed. In total, GSU pitchers fanned 33 batters with Wheeling transfer
Zach Dellerman logging six Ks in his first action as a Pioneer.
