Nwando Okigbo has been named Mountain East Conference Co-Player of the Week presented by
The Health Plan, the league announced. Okigbo shared the weekly award with West Liberty's Reagan Vinskovich.
Okigbo was big for the Lady Pioneers securing the MEC Regular Season title this week, averaging 17.0 PPG, 13.5 RPG, 2.5 BPG, 2.0 SPG and 1.0 SPG in wins over Charleston and Concord. Okigbo recorded two double doubles, with 20 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and one block in Wednesday's 87-66 win before scoring 14 points and grabbing 17 rebounds against Concord on Saturday. She also blocked four shots and had one steal versus the Mountain Lions.
