SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The fourth-seeded Glenville State Softball team eliminated eighth-seeded Claflin and top-seeded Shippensburg today (May 15) in day two of the NCAA Atlantic Regional Tournament. The Pioneers run-ruled the Lady Panthers, 13-0, before bowing out the region's top seed Shippensburg, 6-1.

GSU used RBI singles from
Emma McLean and
Shelby McDaniels as well as a pair of RBI doubles by
Lillian Burns and
Delaney Warnick to go up 6-0 in the second inning.
Alexis Harward added an RBI the following inning and Warnick cleared the bases in the same stanza, helping push the advantage to double digits.
Macie Duvall notched her second triple of 2026 and
AndiJo Howard had a sac fly in the 4
th as the Pioneers closed out the Lady Panthers, 13-0.
Game Two – GSU 6 | Shippensburg 1
Glenville State got on the Raiders early, putting up a four spot in the opening inning on an RBI single by
Emily Nolan and a bases-clearing double from
Zailees Seda. Shippensburg got their lone run of the game in the 2
nd with a sac fly.
Meghan Stump pitched a complete game of one-run ball on just four hits and two walks.
AndiJo Howard came through with a big pinch-hit, two-RBI single in the sixth inning to add insurance, but Stump wouldn't need it by sitting the Raiders down in order to close it out, 6-1.
Up Next For The Pioneers
The Pioneers will now meet Charleston tomorrow (May 16) in the Atlantic Region Pod 1 Final at 11 a.m. GSU will need to beat the Golden Eagles twice to advance to the Atlantic Super Regional.
