Jacob Meadows and starting pitcher
Grant Landis have earned All-MEC honors, the league announced today. Meadows appeared on the Second Team with Landis notching Honorable Mention.
Meadows, a West Virginia native out of Shady Spring, was a top 15 hitter in the Mountain East Conference in 2026. The sophomore outfielder hit .353 with a .836 OPS, 37 hits, three doubles, 14 RBIs and 15 stolen bases in 46 games played (44 starts). He was a productive hitter all season long, having 11 multi-hit performances with three contests of three hits.
Landis, a now three-time All-MEC selection, was one of the top pitchers in the league in 2026. The Rio, W.Va. native finished with a 3.51 ERA, which was fifth-best in the MEC, a (4-1) record, 42 strikeouts and 59.0 innings pitched in 14 appearances (13 starts). He went five or more innings seven times and logged a season-high six strikeouts in games versus Mansfield and Point Park. Landis earned First Team honors in 2024 as a closer and Second Team recognition in 2025 as a starter.
Zach Dellerman and
Ashton Crace were also named All-Conference, landing on the All-MEC First Team.
