BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Glenville State Baseball starting pitcher
Zach Dellerman and right fielder
Ashton Crace have been named to the All-MEC First Team, the league announced today.
Dellerman, a transfer from Wheeling, went (9-2) with a 2.38 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 61 strikeouts in 68 innings pitched in 2026. He started 12 games and made 17 appearances, logging two complete game shutouts and three saves. The senior out of Maineville, Ohio had eight starts of five or more innings, including five starts with six or more innings. Dellerman tied his season-high of eight strikeouts in starts versus West Virginia State and West Virginia Wesleyan while fanning seven Charleston Golden Eagles.
Crace, who started the season as a pitcher before moving to right field, appeared in 37 games with 31 starts for the Pioneers with the stick. He hit a league-leading .422 with an OPS of 1.091, 45 hits, three home runs, 10 doubles, two triples and 27 RBIs. Crace recorded 12 multi-hit performances, with two games of four hits versus West Liberty and Davis & Elkins. On the mound, he had an ERA of 3.00 with 18 strikeouts in 18 innings pitched. He made nine appearances as a pitcher, making two starts, including his most recent against Concord where he pitched five innings and allowed just one run.
Dellerman and Crace were two of four Pioneers to earn All-MEC, as
Jacob Meadows landed on the All-MEC Second Team and
Grant Landis earned All-MEC Honorable Mention.
