GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State University Director of Athletics Jesse Skiles has named Sydney Naughton as the school's next Head Cheerleading Coach.

Naughton, a Pittsburgh, Pa. native, was recently the dance coach with the Pittsburgh Poison All-Stars. She was a dance major at the Pittsburgh Creative and Performance Arts School, which would eventually lead her competing at the USASF Dance Worlds and winning three bronze medals in the hip hop division.

"Sydney has already brought a lot of energy to our department in this role, and we are excited about her cheer team this Fall!" said AD Jesse Skiles.

Naughton graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2020 with a bachelor's of hospitality management.
