Glenville, W.Va. – The GSC Pioneer baseball team went on the road Wednesday afternoon and tallied just four hits while giving up 11 hits to the Senators of Davis & Elkins as they fell 4-0.

Davis & Elkins got off to a great start as they scored two runs in the first and one run in the second as they led GSC 3-0.

The Senators scored their fourth run in the third off of a solo homerun as they held the Pioneers scoreless in nine innings defeating Glenville State 4-0.

The Pioneers also committed two errors in the contest while the Senators didn't commit any.

John Peloro led the Pioneers as he went 2-for-3 while Bryan Bayliss went 1-for-4 and Jordan Braniff went 1-for-3.

Art'om Rank gave up three runs on seven hits and struck out two batters.

Glenville State (11-23, 8-12) will host the Mountain Lions of Concord University this weekend on Saturday, April 22^nd and Sunday, April 23^rd at the Sue Morris Sports Complex starting at 1:00 p.m.
