GLENVILLE – Coach Jimmy Mullins' Glenville Baseball team opened last week with a four-game sweep at Benedict College. This weekend, they return home for a four-game set against Mansfield University.

In the Benedict series, the Pioneer offense his seven home runs, and tallied 51 runs over the four games. The Pitching staff was also on point, only allowing five total runs. The primary reason was command, as the staff only allowed eight total walks for the weekend.

While it is GSC's home opener, it will be the season opener for the Mountaineers. The two teams last played in the COVID-shortened 2020 season, when Mansfield defeated the Pioneers 7-5 at the Sue Morris Complex.

Doubleheaders will be played each day, 1:00 and 3:30. Saturday's game will have live stats but no media coverage. Sunday's games will feature audio and live stream as well.
