GLENVILLE – The Pioneer Acrobatics and Tumbling team is at the Waco Center on Sunday, hosting West Virginia Wesleyan. It will be the squad's first competition under the name "Glenville State University."
This will be a renewal of one of the longer running rivalries in the sport, as these two program were two of the earlier schools to begin the sport; GSU now in their eighth season, and Wesleyan their sixth.
GSU lost in their season opener last week at D&E 233.72-164.72. Wesleyan battled the league's top rated West Liberty squad close in their opener, falling to the Hilltoppers 235.45-234.05.
Events start at 2:00 PM on the Waco Center's McPherson Court.
