INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Glenville State Wrestling team wrapped up the 2023 Midwest Classic at the University of Indianapolis over the weekend with a top eight finisher in the 157 class. The Pioneers were accompanied by 50 other institutions at one of the biggest wreslting classics in the country. 

Gaetano DeLeonardis finished 7th in the 157 class, defeating Drury's Will Kuster. Over the weekend, Leonardis went 5-2 to lead GSU. Other Pioneers went:

149lb – Ethan Hardy (3-2) 
165lb – Cade Linn (1-2) 
174lb – Brady Ross (3-2)

197lb – Devan Gauldin (1-2) 
285lb – Gavin Shamblin (2-2)
