GLENVILLE, W.Va. - Nationally ranked Glenville State Wrestling is eyeing a second-consecutive Mountain East Conference Championship this weekend when they travel to West Liberty for the 2025 MEC Championship on Saturday (Feb. 1).

THE PIONEERS
The Pioneers captured their first-ever conference championship in program history last year, knocking off perennial power West Liberty with a total score of 153.5. GSU won five individual championships with Hunter Ross (125), Gavin Quiocho (133), Gaetano DeLeonardis (157), Brady Ross (165) and Isaiha Casto (174). Glenville State also had four second-place finishes and one third-place finish.Â
The lineup in this year's MEC Championship sees five Pioneers return with Colton Drousias, Caleb Brooks, Wiley Houser, Hayden Pummel and Kyle Homet looking to help Glenville State repeat as conference champions.
