BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Nationally ranked Glenville State wrestler Colby Whitehill has been labeled Mountain East Conference Co-Wrestler of the Week, the league announced today. Whitehill shared the weekly award presented by The Health Plan with Frostburg State's Tanner Halling.
 
Whitehill, a redshirt senior out of Brookville, Pa., went undefeated at this weekend's Pioneer Open inside the Waco Center. The 285-pound grappler scored a team-high 28.0 points for the Pioneers, who won the 14-team tournament, and pinned three of his opponents while recording a decision (2-0) and major (13-1) to win the 285-pound division. In his semifinal match, Whitehill defeated the nation's No. 9 wrestler, Wyatt Bailey, from Ashland.
