GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Wrestling will head to Indianapolis for one of the longest running wrestling events in collegiate wrestling, the 46^th annual Midwest Classic, Saturday (Dec. 13) through Sunday (Dec. 14).
 
The Pioneers were last out on Sunday (Dec. 7) at the Carolina Clash in South Carolina, where they beat No. 19 Newberry and Mount Olive but fell to No. 2 Lander. Glenville State hasn't wrestled in an invite / open style event since November 9^th at the Ohio Collegiate Open at Case Western Reserve.
 
Returning All-American Colton Drousias made his season debut last weekend, going (2-0) after missing the first month with an off-season injury. Colby Whitehill is off to an excellent start this season, holding an (11-0) record with a pair of wins over DI wrestlers and nationally ranked victories on the DII side. Head Coach Dylan Cottrell has gone younger this season, with freshmen David Pento (13-5), Jimmie Bailes (13-4) and Matthew McAfee (11-2) showing high promise early in the season.
 
Action is set to begin around 9 a.m. tomorrow morning at Nicoson Hall. Fans can watch on FloSports with a paid subscription.
