GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State Wrestling will head to Tiffin tomorrow (Mar. 1) for the NCAA Super Region 3 Championship. To qualify for the NCAA Nationals, Pioneer wrestlers will have to place top 3 in their weight class.

In last year's Regional Tournament, the Pioneers finished 3^rd as a team and qualified five for nationals with Gavin Quiocho, Gaetano DeLeonardis, Brady Ross, Nick Johnson and Gavin Shambling punching their ticket to Wichita. GSU also had three take fourth place in their respective weight classes, nearly missing out for Nationals.
This season, the Pioneers are poised for a regional championship and even more wrestlers boarding a flight to Indianapolis for the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships. GSU is expected to have two wrestlers seeded #1 in their weight classes, another five seeded #2, one at #3, one at #4 and one at #5.
