GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Glenville State Wrestling team begins the NCAA DII Wrestling Championships today (Mar. 14) in Indianapolis as seven Pioneer grapplers start their quest for a national championship. Wrestling starts at 10 a.m. and can be watched on FloWrestling with a paid subscription.

THE PIONEERS
Seven Pioneers qualified for the NCAA DII Wrestling Championships as Hayden Pummel (174) and Nick Johnson (197) won Super Region 3 Championships while five other Pioneers qualified via second and third place finishes at regionals. Alongside Pummel and Johnson will be Colton Drousias, Gabe Onorato, Gaetano DeLeonardis, Kyle Homet and Isaiha Casto.

GSU grapplers earned the following seeds:
125 – Colton Drousias: Unseeded
149 – Gabe Onorato: Unseeded
157 – Gaetano DeLeonardis: #6 seed
174 – Haydeen Pummel: #1 seed
184 – Kyle Homet: #8 seed
197 – Nick Johnson: #7 seed
285 – Isaiha Casto: Unseeded
