GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Nationally ranked Glenville State Wrestling will host the school's first-ever wrestling championship tomorrow (Jan. 31) as the 2026 Mountain East Conference Wrestling Championship will be inside the Waco Center.
The ninth-ranked Pioneers are the two-time defending MEC champions after dethroning perennial power West Liberty in 2024. Glenville State comes in with four nationally ranked grapplers with the rest of the league featuring four ranked in the national rankings.

Dylan Cottrell is missing a pair of key starters in

Gabe Onorato, but depth has been a strong suit for the sixth-year leader. The Pioneers will trot out:
