THE OPPONENTS
FAIRMONT STATE
2026 Season
The Falcons come in (25-7) overall and (13-1) in league play, which sits them atop the MEC North Division standings. FSU is coming off of an undefeated weekend against Salem and Point Park, including a 21-run performance against the Tigers on Saturday.

Quick Look at The Falcons
Breonna Marietta has been one of the better hitters in the Mountain East Conference this season, showcasing a .402 AVG, 1.330 OPS, nine home runs, 29 RBIs and nine doubles. Fairmont State has six other Falcons batting .300 or better with 50 at-bats, including Jaylin McGill (.398) and Emma Paul (.392). Both have notched four home runs while Paul has drove in a team-leading 38 RBIs and 14 doubles. As a whole, the offense for the maroon and white have hit 100 extra-base hits, including 26 home runs and 70 doubles.

To no surprise, the pitching staff for FSU has been just as strong. Delaney Haller is (9-2) in 14 starts with a 1.68 ERA, five complete games, 40 strikeouts and one shutout in 70.2 innings of work. Micah Wilson has appeared in 15 games and made eight starts, holding a 3.25 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 56 innings.

FROSTBURG STATE
2026 Season
The Bobcats enter the weekend (29-5, 12-2 MEC) after a split with Shippensburg on Wednesday (Apr. 15) evening. Frostburg State has won 13 out of their last 14 games, including five non-conference victories.

Quick Look at The Bobcats
FSU has used the longball to their advantage, hitting 28 home runs as a team. Arden Miller leads the team in average (.411), HRs (8) and RBIs (44) while adding 10 doubles and two triples. Ally Myers and Izabella Donaldson are both hitting over .360 with an OPS above 1.090 and are tied for second on the team in home runs with six each. The Bobcats have drove in 220 runs as a squad, with Miller being backed up by five other Bobcats who have 20 or runs drove in.

Donaldson hasn't just been impressive in the box, she's found plenty of success in the circle as the sophomore leads the team in ERA (1.90), record (12-1), games started (12), complete games (8), shutouts (2), innings pitch (70.0) and strikeouts (60). Izzy Dietrich (2.95 ERA, 10-2 record in 11 starts) and Sammy Magee (4.50 ERA, 5-2 record in 10 starts) have combined for over 110 innings pitched to provide solid options for the Bobcat coaching staff.

THE PIONEERS
GLENVILLE STATE
2026 Season
The Pioneers have won six in a row and now stand at (27-11) overall and (14-4) in the MEC. Glenville State is second in the MEC South Division and are just one game back of division-leading Charleston.

Quick Look at The Pioneers
Delaney Warnick has surged as of late, now hitting .357 with a .965 OPS, four home runs, 27 RBIs, eight doubles and a triple in 2026. Emily Nolan has been one of the more consistent hitters in the league the past month, moving her way up to a .362 AVG with two HRs, 20 RBIs and eight doubles. Zailees Seda has seen a dip in her average, but she's still hitting an impressive .339 with one home run, 18 RBIs and six doubles. Shelby McDaniels continues to find the gaps and use her speed as the senior has logged 14 doubles and a .327 average.

After 14 innings pitched and just one earned run allowed last weekend, Maci Boggess has dropped her ERA down to 2.02 with a (9-4) record and nine complete games. Kylie Burdick has been the go-to pitcher for sixth-year head coach Sara Scoone, and her numbers tell the story why. The senior boasts a 2.13 ERA, (13-4) record, 10 complete games, six shutouts and 82 strikeouts in 101.2 innings pitch. Meghan Stump has quietly blossomed late in the season, dipping her ERA to 2.07 in 40.2 IP.
