Glenville, W.Va. - The Glenville State Lady Pioneers volleyball team dropped all three sets at home on Tuesday evening to the Bobcats of West Virginia Wesleyan.
Even though GSC dropped all three sets to the Bobcats the Lady Pioneers were right there with them in every set. In the first set West Virginia Wesleyan would win it by three points, 25-22. The Bobcats took the second set, 25-20, and in the third and final set West Virginia Wesleyan took it, 25-22.
Ai Miyazaki led GSC with eight kills on the night and also had a team high 18 digs.
Bailey Brawner finished with seven kills and 15 digs while
Madison Smith had six kills and two blocks.
Madison Gargus had a team high 14 assists while
Allison Parski had 13 assists and three serve aces in the game.
West Virginia Wesleyan was led by Hannah King and Ebonie Hicks as they both finished with eight kills each. Paulina Nottingham had a game high 27 assists.
Glenville State (0-17, 0-3) will return to action Friday, October 7
th as they host the UVa-Wise Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m.
