Class of: 1998
Carlos Ferralls a native of Miami, FL., lettered in football at Glenville State. He was a three time WVIAC All Conference performer and a three time All American. The 1998 official NCAA record book lists Carlos as being fourth in the Nation in All Time Receptions per game with 10.1. During his playing career for the NCAA, Carlos was first in All Time career receptions per game with 268 and fourth in All Time career yards per game with 120. In 1996 and 1997, he led the Nation in receptions per game and in 1997; he led the Nation in yards per game. He was awarded GSC's Montrose Award in the fall of 1998, his career stats being 268 receptions, 4101 yards and 46 touchdowns. After returning to his native Florida, he worked at the YMCA for two years "giving back" to the community before coaching football and teaching four years at Miami Senior High School. Carlos currently serves as Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Principal for Miami Dade County Public School System where he handles among other duties, curriculum and attendance. He recently received a Masters Degree in Leadership and Administration and lists as his career goals to become a principal and later a superintendent. Carlos and his wife, Belkys Ferralls, reside in FL.
