Class of: 1956
Ralph Holder competed in football, basketball, and baseball while attending Glenville State College. Ralph is retired from his long time football coach's position in Belpre, OH. As a testimony to his remarkable impact on that community, Belpre High School named their football stadium in his honor. Coach Holder was inducted into the Mid-Ohio Valley Sports Hall of Fame in 1998. With only four losing seasons in thirty-seven years, winning eleven Tri-Valley championships, and being named Coach of the Year six times, his football coaching career is unparalleled although, his track and field coaching career comes close, with his teams winning twenty-one of twenty-seven Tri-Valley championships. Ralph and his wife, Joann, have three children and five grandchildren.
