Class of: 1958
Rudy Poole, a Lost Creek native, was an outstanding basketball player. He was a three-time All-Conference performer, two time All-Tournament player and a member of the 50-Year All-WVIAC Team. Rudy began his career as a teacher in Elizabeth. He later obtained his master's degree in math from Notre Dame University and began working at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Poole then moved to the Mid-Ohio Valley area and began working for DuPont Corporation and then for Computer Services Corporation. Rudy and his wife, Mary Lue, have four children, Chata, Tara, Jeff, and Wesley, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
