  • Nikki Cale, a  native of Morgantown, West Virginia, graduated from West Preston High School in Preston County.
  • She lettered in basketball at Glenville State College where she played as a point guard or shooting guard for four years and still holds many records today.   
  • #1 in scoring statistics with 1979 points at the time of graduation

  •    Named to WVIAC’s 25 year anniversary team in 2007  (the only player with unanimous votes)
  •    After graduating from Glenville she worked various jobs & moved around a lot trying to figure out what and where she wanted to be when she grew up.
  •    Eventually she decided to return to school and obtain a Master’s Degree from WVU in Safety Management.
  •    Since receiving this degree she has worked in the field of safety for the United States Mint-Denver as a Safety Specialist, FirstEnergy Corporation as their Contractor Safety Specialist for their West Virginia fossil power plants, and now for Navarro Research & Engineering, a contractor to the Department of Energy, also as a Safety Specialist.
  •     She truly enjoys her job for each day is a learning experience as I do all that I can to ensure those that I work with return home safely."
  •    Nikki’s job requires her to travel a lot.  When she isn’t on the road, she resides in Morgantown.
