Class of: 1937
Paul Fulks, inducted posthumously, was a native of Fayette County and a long time resident of Lewis County. He lettered in football, basketball and baseball at Glenville where he competed for the legendary Coach Nate Rohrbough. Paul was captain of his 1936 football team, and president of the College's "G" Club. He went on to become a secondary school coach at Weston High School and then at Oak Hill High School. After a successful coaching career, he entered the private sector and established the very successful Fulks Sporting Goods. Paul retired from this company in 1971 and served on the Board of Directors of the Citizens Bank in Weston for many years. Mr. Fulks is survived by his wife, Shirley Bush Fulks. They have two children, Paul Michael "Mike" Fulks and Melody Fulks Bennett, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
